Pre-cut type intubation tube fixing tape. The tape is pre-cut to the required length and shape, ensuring a clean and secure tube fixation.

The tape with less skin irritation realizes efficient and secure fixation of the intubation tube.

Precut tapes

  • There is no need to cut the tape. Since the fixing method can be unified in the hospital, anyone can fix the tube cleanly and securely.

Reduces skin irritation

  • As the tape expands and contracts in all directions, it follows the movement of the skin to reduce stress and reduce skin irritation.

Highly moisture permeable and adhesive

  • As it has high moisture permeability, it is hard to get stuffy even if it is put on for a long time and can be fixed firmly.

Prepare the following number of pieces:

  • Tape A (for securing intubation tube) × 2
  • Tape B (for reinforcement on upper lip) × 1
  • Tape C (for reinforcement on lower lip) × 1

Before using Tape A

  1. ear at the perforations.
  2. emove the release paper from the piece with no perforations.
  3. emove only the release paper from the piece to be applied to the skin.

Applying the first piece of Tape A (for securing the intubation tube):

Align the perforation with the corner of the mouth and apply the upper side of the tape along the upper lip without stretching the tape.

Wrap the lower side of the tape around the intubation tube without stretching the tape.

Applying the second piece of Tape A (for securing the intubation tube):

Align the perforation with the corner of the mouth and apply the lower side of the tape along the lower lip without stretching the tape.

Wrap the upper side of the tape around the intubation tube without stretching the tape.

Applying Tape B (for reinforcement on upper lip):

Apply Tape B to cover Tape A with the depression under the nose without stretching the tape.

Applying Tape C (for reinforcement on lower lip):

Apply Tape C along the lower lip to cover Tape A without stretching the tape.

Securing the bite block:

Secure the bite block to the intubation tube with surgical tape.

Done!

This completes the application process.

  • Securing tracheal intubation tubes (for adults/securing the corner of the mouth)
  • To obtain good fixation, wipe off the moisture from where the tape is to be applied and dry before applying.
  • Applying with the tape extended may cause skin irritation. Please apply the tape on the skin without stretching.
  • Do not apply directly to a wound.
  • If symptoms such as rash, redness and itchiness appear during use, stop using.
  • Please remove slowly along the flow of hair so as not to damage the skin.
  • Store at room temperature, away from water, high temperatures, high humidity and direct sunlight.

Overview

Tape made of polyurethane non-woven fabric and acrylic adhesive. It has elasticity and flexibility in all directions. In addition, because of good air permeability and moisture permeability, there is little irritation to the skin. Precut tape suitable for fixing circuit tubes during hemodialysis or plasma exchange.
